Fernando Torres "Fernan" Aka. 7AM Project is a DJ and producer from Barranquilla, Colombia, active since 1995. A true pioneer of the hard electronic scene, he is the founder and CEO of Hard Quilla Records. His sound spans Hard Trance, Hard House, Hard Techno, Schranz, Happy Hardcore, Gabba, and Uptempo Hardcore. With over 30 years in the game, he has played private parties, underground clubs, and festivals like Serie New Wave. His sets are a relentless journey of rave energy and raw passion.
History
From the early beats of the '90s to today’s massive stages, Fernan Aka. 7AM Project, Aka Early HC, Aka Depressed Feeling & Aka Feranto stands as a true icon in Caribbean Cost of Colombia’s electronic scene. Hailing from Barranquilla, he began his DJ career in 1995, quickly becoming one of the region’s most dynamic and versatile artists in the hard sound spectrum.
He has performed in legendary Barranquilla nightclubs such as Temptation, Lime Light, and Asako, underground venues like Enigma, Paparazzi and Millenium, private after parties in villas and estates, and large-scale festivals like Serie New Wave.
7AM Project delivers powerful sets fueled by a relentless mix of Hard Trance, Hard House, Hard Techno, Schranz, Happy Hardcore, Gabba, Hardcore, and Uptempo Hardcore. His sound not only energizes the dancefloor but resonates deeply with true ravers.
He is currently the producer and CEO of Hard Quilla Records, a label pushing hard and underground sounds from the Colombian coast to the world. Notable releases include "Old Melody", "Welcome To The Rave", and "Pump Up", tracks that embody his signature rave spirit and underground energy.
In 2025, he was He was honored by the La Fabrica nightclub organization for his 30-year career under his original alias DJ Fernan Mixx, celebrating his legacy as a foundational artist in the Barranquilla electronic scene.

- Vinyl Setup: Technics SL 1200 Mk2 turntables, 2-channel analog mixer with parametric EQ, independent gain per channel, and filter effect. LED bar lighting on setup.
- Festival Setup: 2 or 3 Pioneer CDJ 3000 (optional: CDJ 2000 Nexus 2 o Nexus), Pioneer DJM 900 Nexus 2 or Allen & Heath Xone 92/62 mixers.
- Private Event Setup: Pioneer XDJ AZ or XZ, (optional RX3, minimum RX2).
- Monitoring: For vinyl/festivals – 1 or 2 3-way speakers with 15” sub. For clubs/private parties – 1 or 2 3-way speakers with 12” or 15” woofers.
- DJ table height: 100 cm, compatible with vinyl or hybrid setups.
